I just finished putting a b16a longblock on my integra and I used my LS dizzy. yesterday I wasnt paying attention and hit the rev limiter, now the tach jumps all over the place like its broke but its not (tried 2 clusters), and the car bogs out and hesitates, and whever i give it gas it just doesnt wanna go. my friend says its the ignitor, im just trying to get some opinions before I buy more stuff. the tach gets its signal from the dizzy right?

 

cmon nobody has had this problem?

 

i would say swap that out

 

Could the cable be frayed? Had that problem with a VW once, damn thing bounced all over, made a lot of noise too.
