Acura Integra All Integra Except ITR

Any other modifications if installing ITR or skunk2 cams?

Default Any other modifications if installing ITR or skunk2 cams?

Do I have to change anything in my engine if I was to put ITR cams or Skunk2 cams in my b18c1?

if you dont go sweeping past the redline you'll be fine. if you plan on reving higher than redline get some some valvesprings and retainers

itr and skunk stage 1's will be fine on stock gsr valvetrain just as long as you don't go over the redline, as for skunk 2's and 3's, you would definetely need upgrade valvetrain.

Then hit the dyno and get your car tuned. If you want to maximize the potential that the cams have you should definately get tuned. Im guessing you know you have to do a valve adjustment too once you swap the cams. And possibly have to replace the gasket under the valve cover. Make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing. The number 1 reason why cams break, snap or whatever is the person doing the install. Make sure you have someone that knows exactly what they are doing because one little mistake is going to be a pain in your ***. I went to a honda technician (25 years experience). Its not very hard to do but its worth the extra money to make sure its done perfect.

yea i would get springs and retainers just to be safe skunk2's have 8 deg. more duration than stock and will eventually wear your stuff down. but thats just me
