Need to upgrade shocks and springs 98+ accord coupe....
Which brand of sport springs and shocks should i get to lower my accord coupe 98+. I was a stiffer ride quality, like a sports car, and i want it lower, not too low though. Maybe 1-2 inches lower in front, and 1/2 inch less in the back. Can u please give me suggestions, thanks.
stay away from intrax and like the threaded collar coilovers, too stiff, h&r, eibach, apex, 5zigen, btw, if u dropped it 2" in the front and only half in the back it would really weird, the proper way to do that is equal length all the way around, that kind of suspension set-up will only help on the drag strip and look seriously ghetto on the street
No, half inch less in the back than the front, lol, you know, so it slopes down somewhat. Thats what most people do. What shocks, blisteins? i was thinking eibach or H&R with blistins or Konis. WHich should I get. Thanks
i have weapon-r coil-overs and i really like them. tokico are good shocks if your on a budget.there are better ones out there but they cost a lot more.
what do you mean most people lower their car 1/2" more in the front (maybe if you cut your stock springs) most all springs will lower your car even. when i put my coil-overs on i set them so my back was 1/2" higher so it wouldn't be to low in the back when i had people. but i quickly changed that it looks realy dumb trust my because that car i did that on was my 98 accord.please make the car even

Bro, don't misread. I am going to have the car lower in the front than in the back. Just like 95% of the people lowering their cars. I want a 2" drop in the front, 1 1/2" drop in the back. Just like most people.
i am normal, lol

. in the front and 1% are just idiots and run no suspension. When i lowerd my accord (with adjustable coil-overs) i droped the front 3" and 2 1/2 in the rear.I thought that it wouldn't be that noticablebut it was and it looked dumb so i raised the front 1/2" to match the rear.most all aftermarket springs that you buy (neuspeed,h&r,ground control, eibach, intrax, etc.) drop the car even all the way around. If you look in magazines they list the drop(1 1/2",2",2 1/4" etc) that is for the front and rear.If it says 1 1/2" in the front and 2" in the rear then it would bean uneven drop (i've never seen then listed like that unless you buy drag launch springs like skunk2).what ever springs that you get they will be an even drop (except neuspeed they sag in the rear so the back is lower
)if you want the front lower then you will have to cut the front springs.just my .0002 cents
.If you can find a place that advertises an uneven drop (other then drag racing springs) please prove me wrong and post it
and please dont take it the wrong way i'm not trying sound like an ***
ps my civic sits about 1/5" lower in the front because i swaped engines and the new engine is heavier and that looks ok because it has the power to back up the look i'd rather have it even though
Oh, I'm sorry, I misread. Well I come from an M3 family. The car is usually lower in the front than the back. I'll get myself some Newspeed springs and some blisteins or konis shocks. Now please can you tell me, where can I get them from? I need links pretty bad, thanks.
