Default 9000rpm on B20VTEC

ok, looking for a few "professional" or experience opinions, revving to 9000>>
keep in mind the car and motor already runs and has been since DEC, im getting headwork and a nice header so i wanna do some other things to increase power
heres what i have

12.2:1 Compression ratio

crower springs/retainers/and valves(in&ex+.5mm)i know theres better but its what i've got, i dont need suggestions for them...

crower custom ground cams (run in a full race car, power drop off is about 10400rpm)

putting down 214whp @8500rpm

NOW should i get a block girdle.. car is raced alot... bring it to the track pretty often
so ill be bringing it up to 9k quite often, ive been told no need, is there any of you out there that HAS been running or KNOWS someone personally with no block girdle at that higher or higher rpm for a while? let me know thanks!

you should do a little search there are 2 threads on that i can say will tell you exactly what you need if you dont have it already ...there are very informative ...and you will need the block girdle if you goin to bringing it up that high ...

theyre custom ground Crowers..tried all kinds of grinds... power is VERY lateral...my power charts are up on the Importreview forums...basically bigger then their biggest grins.. to compensate for the bigger stroke n bore n duration

Cool. I've heard that the crower custom grinds work well. Becareful about too high rpm on those though.
