Looking for a valve spring changing tool so I don't have to pull the head.
I want to upgrade my valve train but don't want to pull the head. Can anyone recommend a spring compressor that works well on the D16 head while its still on the car?
Thanks
Thanks
I picked mine up at Autozone..
nothing special..
To keep from losing your valve into the combustion chamber.. put as much rope as you can down your spark plug well when that cylander is at BDC then crank the motor over to TDC ( with a Wrench) the pull the valve springs..

the professional way to do this is have air being pumped in to your cylinder, when your cylinder is under pressure the valves will stay in place, there is a tool you can get that does it, i dont trust the rope idea.
