There's an odd sound on my car. It is located around the front left side of my car. When I drive it...it behaves normally. But when I step on the brake at certain point, it starts to rattles. I'm not sure if it is a brake, caliper, or an axle issue.

Recent installations include new CV joint on that side, new premium brakes a month ago, and lowered my car with DZ coilovers.

 

most likely there t metal peaces close together and at the right point they rattle just get uder there and make sure every thing is tight

 

it sounds like you need to brake pads. They mite not be worn down te pad can crack under climit changes. Not something people think about check them out. The crack can be inside the pad too. Puch down on both sides of the pads and see if you can find a soft spot. Good luck
