what would be a good all around turbo to use on my d16a6 that would not cost an arm or a leg?

 

damn well there is a lot of them...my personal preference is the t3 but with .48/.42, they are good for a lot of boost and on my d16a6 i reached full boost at 3200rpm and it kept on pulling...of course i never race so most of my driving was in lower rpms.

But Definitely move towards a smaller turbo even the Mitsu t25's, T28, and KKK are great turbos for our little engines. but i think the t3 is the easiest to find so usually its cheaper.

 

The best way to turbo a single cam a6 for cheap is to do it junkyard style turbo t3 for like 300 volvo or dsm intercooler miankee downpipe hf manifold with adapter plate dsm bov vortech fmu off ebay for like 100 and the rest is easy like the lines and the IC piping check valve etc you can make this siet-up for like 800-1000 and install it yourself I had a turbo on my single cam for a little while but I was a retard and tried to boos 10psi and blew it up
