How does that work. The k20a owns the b18c

They must have modified the b18's a bit more so it was somewhat even.

well the DC2 has 4 wheel independent double wishbone suspension as to the DC5 with rear double wishbone suspension and the front with a mac pherson strut. Doesnt corner as good.

they race in the same Circuit Club ....i'm sure they were pretty even in modifactions ...most circuit clubs keep the power even for a fair medium ...similar to the RTR race cars and their limited modifacations

Why do you think they put macpherson struts on the front?
They must have done some testing to see what would be better.
I cannot understand why they would 'short' the new ITR on suspension.
There must be a good reason... right?

By the way, after watching the video, it's not so much handling that won the race for the DC2. The DC2 were pulling hard. In the second video The last DC2 runs right around the DC5.
I am so confused as to how HOnda could ahve made the NEW DC5R not as good as the old DC2.

They put on the MacPherson struts because it creates more front cabin leg room. The macpherson struts take up less space then the double wishbone setup. I think there is more then enough leg room and they could have left the double wishbone suspension. Also there are a lot of factors to take into account when watching those videos, and one clip from the race really doesn't mean much. Watch the begining...the DC5s are very slightly pulling on the DC2-Rs, but the first DC5 has to take the turn on the outside opposed to the DC2, while making sure not it the other DC5 coming on the inside. It has already been proven however that the the DC5-R is marginally faster then the DC2-R in straightline acceleration, but the DC2-Rs double wishbone, and lighter weight(like 150-200lbs right?), make it a better overhaul handler. Both cars are the **** though!!!!

Edit:forgot word.
