Default Car audio people

Soon I will be purchasing a complete sound system in my car (01 accord coupe), but i don't know where to start. My budget is around $1400. I am a complete newbie in this car audio stuff. Will i be able to get a good sounding system for my budget? Any suggestions on speakers, subs, headunits? I mostly listen to hiphop music and i want to feel my music. I was thinking of just going to my local audio place and have them suggest me some music but I dont know if i should trust them. I might get stuck with cheap stuff. Thanks
