Sellin Si for Ls!!
I have owned my Si for awhile (all motor) and I gotta go to college now so I am sellin it for a Ls teg cause they are cheaper and I owe money on the Si
well I will have about $7500$ to spend on it ( I got alitte more money to spend if I need to but I need to stay around that range) and I am gonna turbo it. My questions are Should I get one will high mileage (cheaper) and just rebuild it
with lower comp. pistons? Or should I get one with decent miles? If i decide to rebuild it what pistons, rods, crank should I shot for (brand) also 8 or 9 to 1 comp???
Also any suggestions???
I need it some what reliable (no modded car is reliable)

of course high mileage if your going to rebuild it but keep in mind are you going to rebuild it right away? high mileage doesn't necessary mean its no good. its just what has it been through, dirivng conditions, well maintained or not and so on
but fair mileage is always good...........
to me it doesn't matter

seriously i would say buy one with high mileage for cheap and keep the rest of the money, your going into college your gonna want to have alot of spending cash and not having to worry about a car payment or making payments for a turbo set up so id say just keep the money and use it for college purposes
Yea I just gotta sell my car now and pay off my momma
Then School will be paid off and I will have the cash flow for the car another question I noticed a bunch of automatic Teg's for cheap how hard is the swap?? is it worth it??
I am thinkin of gettin one with about 150K and rebuildin it SO EMAIL me if you got one

your car shouldnt be your main priority all the time.. i had the $ for new rims and tires, but i paid for school first.

just get a manual. 5 spd conver is a waste of time and $ (IMO)

forged pistons with a lower compression then stock maybe 8:1 or less...then some good rods such as eagle or crower. keep stock cams. should be able to boost a healthy 10 psi with that mild set up.
I wouldn't lower the compression that far, but the forged pistons and rods are a good idea. As are new bearings, main, rod, and thrust, and a Vtec oil pump. You'll also want some type of engine management like Hondata.
I have a 1994 rs for sale but im in socal.

pain in the ***! had a friend do it to his mustang and after it was done he said that he never wanted to that again... EVER! if you buy an auto teg and say anything about how you want to do any performance enhancing mods, youll get a bunch of *** clowns telling you to convert it to manual like you have a chest full of gold buried in your back yard and father time is your bitch.
