Another cheater story
lol anyone hear about Ericks racing..About how the Techs at Nopi tore his motor down and they found somethin interesting ..Word around the campfire is ..he had somekind of Nitro Methane injection going into the motor to make more HP into the motor i mean (the block is retrofitted internally with a type of plumbing so the nitro methane wont mix with the race gas until it is in the cylinder head ..therefor his fuel supply in the tank would remain legal gas ..pssshhh
..now im not the brightest guy but this is cheating ...since he is like 7 tenths to a full second in front of the competition that would mean 100 hp or so.LOL ya right ..i knew somethin was funny. HMM aftermath...besides the embarrassment of being a world champ cheater .Im sure he will finish #1 in points and not get the prize money or some **** like that

Well I guess your also calling me a cheater and a liar because I have personally tore down Ericks motor. As being part of team STR, I got the chance to meet Erick and his crew. So when we Erick had a problem with his motor, he had to go home to try and get anouther motor together. Well, Cloyse and I personally striped down his motor and car. I can tell you there is nothing in that motor except for a great running combination. Or maybe I can tell you about the time we pulled the head and bottom end apart at a local shop in ATL. Or maybe we can talk about when he pulled the entire motor apart at the track and even let NOPI tunervision film it. No one remembers Ericks car a couple years back when they couldnt even make a pass down the track? Why, cause theres lots of trial and error in that car that lead to the point of how well it runs today. You think you know it all, I bet if you talk to Erick for 10 minutes you would wake away a smarter person or at least an idea that you never had before. Seems to me that Ericks only a tad quicker right now then leslie and bisi at they are only a 10th of a sec. or less off his pass...so them being so close, guess they are cheating too.
It would be stupid to use 'Nitromethane'...and there's no way he's spraying nitrous on that much compression.

yeah, ones a fuel and the other is a gas. You obviously dont know what it takes to light off that kind of gas with that kind of comp...its gonna take more then factory honda parts which is what Erick uses. Oh and guess what, Erick usues factory head bolts. Bet you and no one else would dare to use factory head bolts and be able to keep the head on the motor...esp with that fuel. Also, it takes more then just hideing that fuel in the block, you also have to have a fuel pump, regulator plus lots other stuff to be able to pump that which he cant hide...

The partt I find funniest about all of this, is the fact that the original poster obviously has no idea about how a nitrocar runs. If Erick were to run Nitro Methane in his car, everyone around it would know it. Do you know anything about Nitro? Tell you what, go to an NHRA or IHRA event, and stand next to a Nitro funny car when it changes over from the alcohol to the nitro (after start up) and tell me if you can't tell when the switch over is. Man, if Erick was running Nitro methane, everyone on the grounds would know it by sound alone. AS well, the starter would know simply by the smell, and the fact that there is so little oxygen around after a nitro car has left the line. Man, do some reaserch, and if you are going to lie, at least try to make it somewhat believeable.

OK, I'm gonna tell you the whole story. There is a pressurized nitro tank inside of the oil pan. Only room for 1/2 quart of oil but that is all that we need. We actually have 4 lines coming off of it attached to nozzles installed in the dome of the pistons. A selenoid opens the nozzles off the line and away we go. I will post up some pix of us operating the engine without the pan. Really funny to see those steel braded lines going up and down. Once those NOPI guys figure out what we are doing, we will switch to our secret rocket powered tail light assemblies. Can't use them at night, however, without a muffler.
