axel back from 4dr to 3dr?

i tried searching but couldn't find...

will a muffler from a 4-door gsr bolt up to a 3-door gsr? is it the same length? thanks.

I'm pretty sure the axle back portion is the same. Not positive, though. I'm sure someone knows for sure.

The axle back will bolt right up as far as to the b-pipe, but the tip is longer on the 4dr. So you might want to bring it to a muffler shop to make the tip shorter so that it fits nicely on the 2dr.

Yeah. I put a 4 door GSR axle back on my DC2 when I had it. The tip was longer and the pipe did not EXACTLY meet up to the mid pipe. A little elbow grease and tweaking with the hangers will do the trick.
