Default chassis/suspension question

situation: loose control of the car and does a 180.

my question is in doing that 180, could i have messed up something on my suspension? the car is still driveable; it doesn't feel rough at all. is there a way to check to make sure there isn't anything wrong? i'm going to take it in for an alignment, therefore will they be able to check and repair the suspension if it is bent? could inducing a spin like this cause any bends in the chassis?

anyone else ever do a 180 (on accident of course) and still able to drive off fine?

thanks to anyone that can help.

This happens early and often if you do any type of AutoX. It really shouldn't hurt your suspension or alignment unless you actually hit something.

Remember, when you're sliding, your riding on semi-molten rubber. In fact, at the friction boundary, I think it becomes a liquid and is what causes you to slide. As soon as it cools enough, you're tires regain grip and stop the car. So, there's not as much damage in sliding as you think there would be. I think it's pretty darn negligible.

alright thanks, my car was due for an alignment anyway since i just redid my suspension with ground control coilovers, so i guess i'll be taking it in.

anyone else have a reply to this by any chance (i'm not neglecting ginsu2k's post)?

unless you hit something, spinning isn't going to do anything. You are fine, just get an alignment since you recently did suspension and you will be fine.
