im looking to do a mini me swap to my 98 hatch - ive done searches amd cant find anyone thats done it to an ek - this what i have
99 ex head and distribtor
98 ex timing belt
98 ex intake manifold
99 ex ecu
what else do i need??

also does anyone know of any helpful how to site on this - please help

single cams don't have a knock sensor

 

the D-16 Y8/Y5 has a knock sensor, its on the back of the block, to the right and up from the oil pressure sending unit

You pretty much got it...you'll need a head gasket, valve cover gasket, and throttle body gasket from a 96-00 EX and will probably want to pick up a water pump just to be safe. When I did mine, I went ahead and did the entire maintenance package. Heres a list of everything I got:

Head (Inc Dizzy, IM, TB, Valve Cover, All Sensors)
ECU
Timing Belt
Water Pump
Head Gasket
Valve Cover Gasket
Throttle Body Gasket
Intake Manifold Gasket
Spark Plugs
Spark Plug Wires
Distributor Cap + Rotor
Coolant
Oil
