Default Jerky Transmission

Hey guys,

I have a 1994 Honda Accord Coupe with automatic transmission and it has just over a 100k miles on it. I have two problems.

1) Lately the transmission has been a little jerky and I notice an irregular shifting pattern too. Is it just me or do I need replace the transmission fluid or is it something worse? The jerk is not too prominent though. I have heard that Hondas usually have no transmission problems at all.

2) Another problem is that when my car is running low on fuel and I let it sit for a while (like overnight or a few hours) and try to start it (the next day in the morning, for instance) and try to crank it, it does not start immediately. Sometimes it takes me two tries to start the car. However, it cranks immediately whenever the gas tank is not on empty. Is this just because the fuel is running low or do I need to replace the fuel filter?

Hope I get some answers from you guys. Appreciate it.

PS - I wanted to buy some euro tail light lens for my car, but my friend said that they were not worth it because they start to leak within a year. Is this true?
