i will have my own mount kit coming out for the EG in about 1.5 weeks or so
and will definetly be more cost effective

Maybe someone should create a "Hybrid Honda Challenge"
That way none of the rules would have to change for the H1 H.C.

Aww damn. Now are cars will be at greater risk now. It nice to see that the motor can fit the older tegs and civics, but this just adds more worry and stress for k20 owners.

i think you should be more worried about current Si owners .....and the New Honda Fit that will be coming out ....seeing as its supposed to be in the 13k range ...and can easily swap a K20 in

I see mounts, and reinforcements in that kit. But what about the linkage, axles, radiator, necessary hoses, suspension tweeks? What other parts are necessary to get this motor into an integra, besides this kit. I think this company is jumping the gun to release this kit in order to gauge interest... I would like a more "complete" kit.

BTW, I'm not looking into stealing anybody's car. There ARE people out there that do things the right way.

a complete kit never even existed for the B-series ..it was all hand me down knowledge from racer after racer

as far as knowledge about how the k-series works ..the ins and outs ..and the How to's and Diy's
i really dont think that will be somethin as widely known as the b-series

But the good thing about immobolizor that they need to take the engine + car to the dealer with proof of purchase so that the dealer willl turn off the immobilization device, still for the Civic with the engine it runs 10 grand. </TD></TR></TABLE>

actually...thats not true as well..My friend that imports JDM k20a clips..he said he found out a way to bypass k20a2 and k20a immobolizer..so im guessing if he figured it out after messing with the system for a couple minutes..i can only imagine a real professional theif has figured it out already..
he didnt take his car to acura when he droped a k20a in an em1.

The JDM ones are much easier to defeat than the US immobilizers.
