Default Redline Injector Cleaner

I read a few good things about this stuff. I just changed my oil and wanted to do some maintenance. I have 69k miles on my ITR. Let me know what you guys think. Worth doing ? Are my miles to high.

Thanks

Do it, its costs what, 5 bucks? Go 4 it.

Redline injector cleaner was recommended to me by both King Motorsports and Jackson Racing in 1991 back when they were basically the only games in town for Honda performance parts. Ive used it ever since.

yup

i run the stuff, no complaints.

but unless you actually tested your fuel and injectors before and after its really hard to tell if the different various bottles actually were different or pretty much the same

I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather take the injectors out. Take 'em to the machanic's, Clean 'em and Flow test. After the flow test if they aren't close enought together, Get new one/s.

NO LIQUID WILL CLEAR A BLOCKED INJECTOR.

If it is'nt spraying properly, it might make a small difference.

Just take 'em out and get it done properly.

I disagree. Many users have commented that their car ran much better after using the cleaner and I used the cleaner regularly and when I pulled my injectors for cleaning and balancing at 80k, RC said they didn't need to be cleaned and they all flowed within 1% of each other. They said it was unusual because by 80k you need some sort of cleaning...

Techron and Neutral (a schaeffer's oil product) doing a good job too.

But I still agree with oz... taking the injectors out is the only way to REALLY get them 100% clean.

I agree. Plus from what I've seen of redlines other products, I wouldn't recommend anything they make.

$50 (includes return shipping) + 1 week + http://www.cruzinperformance.com/

All new seals on injectors, bead blasted, painted to prevent rust, and now all injectors are within 1/2 of 1% flow of each other. Best deal ever.
