THE NEW LAW IS IN L.A. COUNTY IS IF CAUGHT STREETRACING THE CITY OWNS YOUR CAR.....

 

There is supposidly a law like that around where I live. I don't know, a friend said if caught you never see your car again. I don't know for sure though.

 

that's discrimination... how come they didn't come up with that law 30 yrs ago when the youngsters were racing domestics...??

i think thats been on the books for about a year...they will also auction your car if your caught buying drugs or BJ's

 

What if the bank owns your car? Is the city gonna make your car payments for you?

 

if your car is impounded you are still required to make your car payments as well as pay city impound fee's

 

its not just gonna be impounded...it will be auctioned

so the guy who buys it from the auction will get it cheap since the original owner is still paying the payments ?

Is this going to be inforced at street races? or stuff like red light races too?

either way, im too dumb and slow to race. . .

 

this is a dead end, people who buy the cars at the auction will probably be at the street races too... so the cycle keeps going and going and going.

Maybe this will stop FAST CARs Street racing and bring back the old school budget racing. So if it gets taken away.. the owners dont have to worry about how much money they dumped into it. Bucket Street Racing.. thats what it'll be called.

here is a loophole for those of you streetracers
in order for that to happen
the car has to be in the drivers name

put it in a relatives name ...or a good friend

they cannot take it if its not your car .....of course they can tow it ...keep it for a day or so ...but thats all

plus all the usually bullshit fines and shiznit

 

Dam i dont know about racing on mansvill anymore! I love that track its better than some real tracks.

 

mansville has great rubber...its too hot now though. i didnt enjoy fleeing from the cops with slicks on my car.

doesnt most of the accidents come when the cops do come and every single car there is tryin to bounce asap?????? i left a couple of them around here b4 and i do not like running off when there are 100-200 cars trying to run in 2 different ways.......i kno i am going to get flamed for this but i bet half of the guys here on honda-tech street race or at least go to them.
