Team Verizon "bubba and her dad + Leslie" do all the work on the car. Javier G has helped out with some problem solving and machine work and what not.

Now the real question should be, what is she hiding under the cloth covering her intake manifold/ITB setup?
In person I could only see glimpses of what appears to be a pecilular shapped object that I could not describe. Whatever it is, it must be making a lot of power!!!

Those little mice work there a$$es off under that hood turn turn those wheels that fast. Reasearch and Development I'm sure is the reason why she is going that fast. Tackling problems one step atn a time. It was only a matter of time and i'm sure that car will continue to progress. 9's anyone? Congrats to the team.

Well, based upon the totally sealed front end and the large hood scoop with a rearward facing opening, I'd say its clearly a high pressure cowl air induction system. 
Not a bad idea since it allows a relatively clean aerodynamic profile while still pulling high pressure air. A forward facing intake is _theoretically_ better, but the drag benefits from a totally sealed front end may more than make up for it. Given that the CRX is already the most aerodynamic Honda body running, why not play to your strengths, right?

The motors are built & tuned by Bubba of Trackmasters. All components are JG.

actually I know somebody who is "dumb enough" to put a k-series in an Insight and take it to Bonneville. Project has already started. It`s the most aerodynamic car Honda has ever built..by far.

Its basically like this.. carlos "bubba" is the crew chief and does all the main wrenching for the whole car including building the motor.. leslie's dad and jg design the engine using all jg blocks and heads.. nuff said.. give credit where credit is due..

With Geoff, Voodoo, and others speaking of this "project" Insight, it sure does make me look foward to it. Im very sure it wont be slow by any means. Cool *** concept if you ask me. Just hope they go BIG block, as Jack has me hooked.
