use one from a 90-93 teg

or just disregard the bracket that it runs through and you might get that extra inch you need....

This has been covered MANY, MANY, times before. You dont need to buy a new clutch cable. Just UNBOLT the bracket ( 2-12mm bolts), adjust the threaded **** all the way loose (up), put the cable in the bracket first, then attach to the tranny lever, then RE-BOLT the clutch cable bracket back up. Then adjust the threaded **** as necessary.

I'd rather see you spend money on the right throttle cable instead, ( so it pulls your throttle 100%) rather than wasting your money on a clutch cable that is not needed.

I've done countless number of Bseries swaps into EF's and NEVER had to replace the CLUTCH cable.

I never changed the clutch cable on a ZC swap, Z6 swap, B16 or my ls-vtec. It will work. With my Xtreme p-p I had to use the cherry picker hook on the lever to pull it up so I could get the end in the lever

i have tried both the stock clutch cable in my Std. and the cable from the wrecked 92 gs-r that I bought, and *BOTH* are too short. i'm going to go outside right now and unbolt the bracket and try it that way, but i don't think it's going to work...

You have to extend it all the way out the plastic screw to the top. then put it in. Its sorta a PITA but it can be done. Stop being such a *****.

Use a floor jack and a block of wood to push up on the clutch arm, and then install the cable.

It'll work fine, trust me.

Using the stock clutch cable is possible...but you will have no adjustment whatsoever. It does work though. A 90-91 teg cable is the desired one.

Amen, I agree here. I just swapped mine and everything but the throttle cable swaps over. A buddy gave me his. I bolted that in no issues and away I go. Lot's of small stuff to get in your way. clutch cable does not need to be replaced. I have full clutch and flywheel replaced and still no issues. All that I did was put more slack in the cable and was able to thread it through. Then tightened it back up. Way to easy. Took 3 seconds to install. No bolts were harmed during this process. he he he.
