Im driving down the road, use my remote to turn up the music and BAMM nothing Amps turn off and head unit is dead. I have blown fuses to my amps b4 but never to my head unit... Please tell me what i can do to fix this.... THANK YOU!

 

check the:

deck fuse
drivers kicl panel fuse box
engine bay fuse box

for the offending fuse.

 

wasn't any fuses under the dash or hood wasn't the inline fuse for the amps, must be the head unit fuse, whats an easy way to pull the ha\ead unit out, I dont have a set of keys will some thin flat head drivers work?

 

wut kind of HU is it and wut model. if u dont know model, approx. year will do

if your lucky you might be able to reach behind the dash and feel around for the fuse pull it out and look at it you might be able to use a screw drive but chances are you will prolly just mess up your dash and deck...good luck

 

i always just install my hu's myself so when i have to take it out i know i can do it easily. avoid situations like these...

 

Just go to your local stereo shop. Installers always have tons of extra keys laying around. I know my installers do.
