What kind of WHP to hit 11.99 on 225/50-15 DR's ?
For these two cars.
2300lb Hatch w/Driver . . . Hatch has yet to run. *Friday*
2850lb GSR w/Driver . . . With 280-300 this GSR hit 12.7@113 w/2.0 on DR's
Thanks Guys.

2300lb hatch
240-250whp NA
340-360whp Boost
2850lb gsr teg
250-260whp NA
360-400whp Boost
My friend's gsr teg ran 11.90@119 with 380whp but on slicks.
I think it will be hard to grip on boost on those radials. There are a few 11 second turbo street tire cars and they are all making above 400whp!

not sure about NA but on boost in a 2300lb car you should be able to do it w/ 360whp, the right set up, and a good driver. No one in the 11's so far is running a proper turbo set up for street tires. theres definitly room for improvement.
my 12.8 only took about 260whp wieghing 2620lbs and when I made the pass it didn't even feel like a good pass. my friends 520whp 2600lb hatch(hes a big guy and the car is full everything) went 12.3 @ 132 and then he turned the boost down to 13lbs and hit 12.1 @ 121. just goes to show its not all about power.

yea, yea, i wish it was making that much then. Making alittle over 400 spinning my *** off and the car crapping out again at the 800' and half throttle in 5th. The car went 12.0@115 on those bfg's. I see some 11.90's maybe 11.80's on radials out of my car.
Also, my car weighs 2625 with me in it. If I turn the boost down some I think the car might actually go a little faster, but what's the fun in going down. Anyone know the current record for fwd honda on street tires?

m&h street slick, has a slick compound, comes 235/60/15 and has a 25.4 overall diameter. thats over a 5" sidewall. that would be nice.

i went 12.4@128 on 255/50/16's on my 1st pass. I still want to break the 11.88 record myself. I just never made it back to the track on radials again. Remember the guy with the most hp will not break the 11.88 record thats for sure.

i dont think its possible to cut a 1.7 on drag radials fwd. enough rwd cars have trouble cutting those 60fts. shoot for a 1.999 and you'll go 11's with the right setup. when i went 12.4@128 i cut a 2.4 60ft so imagine what you can do with a 2.0 60ft.

Cut a 1.89 2 weeks ago with 205/50-15 BFG's
That's with a 2800lbs car, Open Diff and 7000 rpm Launch.
Looking for a 1.79 > with 2300lb car, Quaife, Drag Springs in rear and 7000 rpm launch.
