Default Intermediate shaft on sh

I want to swap a prelude sh motor in my EG civic.
My problem is the intermediate from my non sh tranny does not bolt up.
Does anyone know of a solution besides rigging it?
Can the block be tapped?
Does any company sell a kit or intermediate shaft, for such a set up.

Basically you've got a big headache, and alot of fabrication on your hands.

I have heard of one person completing this swap...into an accord I belive. it involved welding some type of bracket to replace the half shaft. Do a search it's in here somewhere.

ATTS is also a PITA...I would advise you to finda base model H22 instead.

Would the normal intermediate shaft from 92-96 bolt to the 97+ base model block?

You'll need to fab an adapter bracket and mod the bearing carrier...I did it a while back when I eliminated the ATTS on my SH. You can find some pics here: http://ian.clendaniel.net/gallery/noatts

You're going to have to rig something inorder for the intermediate shaft to fit
