try launching at a higher rpm. One thing ive learned by going different levels of N/A through turbo is that the more power i have going to the wheels, the less wheel hop i have. The trick to a good launch is hazing the tires.

Your engine is stock and you have that problem? If you really want to cure it, then get polyeurathane? engine mounts and tranny mounts. I have them, and haven't gotten wheel hop yet with over 200whp.

I think wheel hop is due to either too stiff of suspension, or just not enough power.

Check tire pressure -- too low of pressure can cause hop

or

As people have said before check to make sure you don't have a worn or broken tranny or engine mount.

i beg to differ.. wheel hop is usually caused by a poor suspension setup... and less power won't cause it either... launching technique is also a big factor..

if you're hoppin, let off the throttle, else you'll brake something....

Dude just sell those 17's and go with 15's and some nice rubber maybe some Falkens Azienas...that should help a lot!

Then if you want to be more serious i would get some stiffer motor mounts

Then if you do want to go all out get the tracion bars...but thats only if you have some more power wont be needed on a stock d-series...

BUT seriously get rid of those 17's and go out and get some cheap light wieght! 15's

I lowered my pressure and got less wheel hop.

Best thing you can do to get reid of wheel hop is Traction bars, Ureathane Motor Mounts and Bushing, suspension, and alignment.

If you were to only get one of those... GEt the Traction Bars.

Another Option is Slicks. I think you would get reid of any wheel hop with Slicks at your power.
