Default Motor almost broke in quick question before I get it tuned

My motor is finally in and running great so far got 450 miles on it. Gonna be getting it tuned in a couple weeks. Set-up is GSR motor JDM ITR pistons, skunk2 stage 1's, skunk2 valvesprings and retainers, skunk2 intake manifold, type r throttle body, comptech icebox, dc jdm 4-1, B&M fuel pressure regulator, and hondata S200. Now my tuner suggested I upgrade my fuel pump cause I am currecntly running on the stock sohc fuel pump. Should I get a Walbro 190 or would a DOHC VTEC one be better. Was just wondering if the 190 could be too big.

nah... you can't be too big, espically if you have a way to tune down the fuel. I've got a bud with a similar setup- doesn't have the ice box- has a Walb. pump- works good!

if you're gettin a fuel pump you may as well get the walbro 255lph...lot easier to take fuel out than to add fuel
