any DSM guys here... help with my beater
just bought a 91 tsi and the car has been sitting for a while. long story short no spark or fuel. had it taken the the dealer cause i dont know much about these cars and they said it need a new distributor and coil. i know also that the is no fuel being pumped by the injectors whent the car is cranking but there was fuel in the rail.
if there something in the DSMs that stops the injectors from firing until spark is seen? any help appreciated

Something about crash safety...
I would try another ecu if you have access to one. The capacitors inside the ecus usually start leaking after all these years. Cheap fix most of the time.
