car on lift built engine, starting and idling problems please help(kinda of long)
Okay, here we go I finally install my engine after a year of buying parts its my first swap so I'm really nervous but confident. Now for the technical its a b18c into a 92 civic si I used the stock si wiring harness so far everything is going according to plan checked all connections time to start up. I get into the driver seat turn the switch clicking noise so naturally I think its the battery I checked the voltage on the battery 12.4v I check the voltage on the starter 12v my cables are tight so I figure what the hell I'll try it again I try to crank it clicks again I keep turning the switch its clicking ,but then it cranks up I smile like a proud new father hearing the new born cry for the first time it idles great for about 5-10 seconds then dies. So I try it again click click click starts then dies immediately after. I try it 3 or 4 more times and the same thing happens I'm stumped I was getting a cel code of 1 which is 02 sensor the sensor was fine when it was pulled from the old engine. I did a search there was alot of topics that dealt with this but nobody posted how they fixed there problem. I'm lost honda-tech please help oh... by the way how do you tell if the code is 1 or 10 will it flash quickly 10 times let me know
Thanks, Chris
Sept 21 my problems is fixed the clicking has stopped for some odd reason don't know why it now starts fine. I've been having this problem for over a week I forgot to put the o-ring in under the map sensor put that and
now it starts okay

Short flashes are 1, long flashes are 10. It wouldnt flash quickly 10 times, and if it does, there is something wrong.
The air temp sensor and the iacv have the same plug, you may have them backwards. I've seen it happen plenty of times...

Well....check your air temp sensor.
if you have the connectors switched you would also be getting code 14
Check wiring and sensor
