I guess I forgot to mention that I'm not doing this myself. It will be done at the dealership while they replace some other unrelated tranny stuff for me under warranty.
The FD also came with a handful of magnets...do the magnets currently in the tranny need to be replaced?

there is only one in the tranny and does not need to be replaced... only cleaned.

Is this easy to install when replacing the clutch? Just wondering... how much did it cost, I may do something like that when I replace my clutch but I would like to know whow much the set costs.
Thanks!

is installation the same on the 99-00 si tranny? or will i have to get a stock itr lsd?
So the stuff in 1st pic are 4.785 final gear on the left, needle bearings on the right.
And the counter shaft on top, with the 1st gear & bearing collar at the bottom of 2nd pic?
I'm looking forward to install the ITR LSD & 4.785 final gear swap in my 2000' SiR coupe's S4 tranny(since I need to get FD off from GSR/CTR/96spec ITR anyway so mite as well upgrade that). These are all the stuff that I need on the gears' part(except the LSD) right?
Thanks for posting the part# of them too. Really appreciate that!

u will need a GSR/ITR diff casey. the SI and LS share a smaller "internal" hole inside the ring gear. the GSR/ITR has a bigger "internal" hole. i cant really explain it. but SI/LS have the smaller ones. i do not know if they will still bolt up. this applies to LSDs specifically.
sounds like u done ur homework. install is easy and straight forward. once the tranny is out it should take about an hr or 2.
When I get my stock parts, should each of the JDM pieces have an equivalent stock USDM counterpart that I should be getting back?
