what is the highest compression ratio that can be run on 93 octan?
Ok ...well i did a search for this and didnt come up with what i was looking for ...what is the highest compression ration that you can run with 93 octan for a 1.8l or 2.0l with alot of tuning ? sorry if im not detailed enough i just want a basic idea...

why is it that people ask this question every day just about? try the SEARCH function in the upper right corner of the site (which you said you did).. Then use your brain and interpret what is being said in those posts.. I know there have been a couple that said 12.5 is max for street with super good tuning.... Bottom line is your tunere is responsible for the MAX compression you can run. Not trying to be a dick, but I'm just getting tired of the same **** over and over....

it depends on many factors like quench, altitude, temperature, and fuel temp, 14.25:1 with no detonation, in 98 degree weather dry heat. spend the money,on coatings and good pistons, and a good port job, and valves,
cool ...thanks for the replies and info guys ...now i got a good idea ...and i did do a search and i dont know where they post the threads because i only came up with 2 but my fault ...but if there are more that you know of post them up here and ill read them ...but now i got a good idea of what can be run on 93 with very good tuning ...thanks for the help guys ...if anyone else has something to add let me know ...
