safe compression

Default safe compression

whats the highest compression ration to run if its a daily driver on 93 octane would 12.0:1 be ok?

im trying to decide the same thing. the only difference is we have 94 where i live. from what ive heard, 12:1 is about the limmit if you do some tuning on pump gas.

i think im going to go about 11.5:1

I would say 12:1 - 12.5:1. Depending on who you talk to. Some say 11.5:1 is the most. Talk to steven. He ran or runs or has tuned many cars that run 13:1 on the street.

I would definitely say 12-12.5:1 with good tuning. I run 11.6:1 110miles daily in my B16 easy as cake and it'll drink 91 octane with little effort (although I religiously run 93).

I run 12.5:1 on 93 oct. With 19 Deg. initial timming with no problems.

i'm currently running 13.1:1 on 94 octane pump gas (gotta love canada) with 15 degress base timming, and a lot more timming in my powerFC

i haven't had any problems to date
