Reset ECU?
I have always wondered this...why do you remove the negative terminal instead of the positive terminal? wouldn't it be safer to remove the pos? keep it grounded so to speak?
Thats exactly why you dont. There is potential between the two, when you lift the negative off, it is more likely to hit a piece of metal, which is already negative, therefore no potential and no spark.
There is a fuse in the fuse box next to the firewall (along the very back of the fuse box) labeled 7.5 .... Remove that for 15 sec.

Easier is just removing the ECU fuse and backup fuse.
at any rate you need the Radio code to let the stock radio run again. If theres no code entered then no tunes man... just out of curiosity, why do you want to reset? The stock ECU will reset and adjust over a period of a few days I believe anyway "at least thats what I remember seeing posted before."
I too have reset the ECU with my fuse method before after mods but, I felt no difference and or more gains. I currnetly feel it's better to let you cars ECU relearn the mods and adjust accordingly. Maybe I'm wrong but my R feels great right now and I'm running I/E...
Good luck,
A.
