Want To Know: I'm going on a trip on the east coast from michigan. So i'll be probably going to Portland, Maine first then down through Boston and maybe to West Virginia. I want to know where there are some awesome/beautiful winding roads around there. I'm trying to chill in nice landscapes and ****. Thinking about driving through the finger lakes, Shenandoah Valley and others. So what is y'all suggesting? Post about your favorite driving areas. Peace
West Palm Beach on the intercoastal.... here you will find many manchions with many million dollar homes with cars that we could only hope to have withing the next 40 years
Awesome beach view and if you see any hot chicks, chances are they are worth more money than we can all scrounge together in our bank accounts

In Northeast PA: Hawks Nest is a must. Then take I-84 over to I-81 south to I-476. 476 is an unreal road, first with lots of winding turns, Lehigh Valley tunnel, and then long straight aways for as far as you can see. That takes you all the way down to Philly and beyond. If you are feeling up to it, I-80 will take you all the way to California by way of Chicago.
In Northwest NJ: there are some nice backroads as well.
Southeast NY: Lake Minniwaska(RT 55 I believe), Harriman State Park and Bear Mnt(both have AWESOME scenery and roads for this area), RT 9W, Palisades down to the GW bridge for NYC. All of those roads are fun
NYC: Once you get to NYC, head down the Henry Hudson/West Side Highway, down to the Brooklyn bridge and back up the FDR to the GW again, basically a loop around Manhattan. Then if you feel daring, you can cut across through the heart of Manhattan and maybe shoot down Broadway into the downtown and the villiage. There are lots of places to go in this whole Tri State area.
We go on Sunday drives regularly throughout that whole area and its good times unless there is a lot of traffic
Have fun!

I've gone down partially part of the East coast.. Boston, man, those roads can get CRAZY.. I used the subway/train most of the time. And that clam chowder.. Quincy's Market is a nice place.. Freedom train is interesting. Plenty of history there...
And we went to NYC. Stayed right in Times Square. Amazing city... Parking though.. $80 for 2 days.. OUCH. Great things to see.. Conan O'Brien.. Broadway. WTC site, Statue of liberty...
All these roads are kinda semi interesting. You have to hit the mountains where it gets fun. I've seen pictures of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, it seems like a VERY interesting drive, in NC, I'd like to hit it up someday.
