Question on lowering the R~!!! Guru knowledge needed
ok, thinking of getting spoon springs to lower the itr, but would it rub if i had stock suspension and tires are 205/50/15?
why do people like spoon springs? aren't they progressively wound?
I would rather go w/ som race springs (neuspeed/H&R)

They are. I wouldn't put progressives on anything I drive.

Just seems like you're sacrificing a little bit of handling for comfort. I dont want any lean when I turn.
I'm probably wrong though.

I don't like my H&R progressive springs when driving "off throttle" through chicanes when tracking. Then the car won't set and you get too much body roll. When cornering at full throttle the springs are nice and stiff though. The little bit of extra comfort is also nice, specially when driving in the city.

The stock rear rate is progressive. Comfort is not the main concern why Honda did that. The main reason was that when passing a small bump, the rear won't "bounce" and cause the rear tires to loose contact with the ground unexpectedly.

You'll be find for about 15-20k miles. Then, your shocks will die and you'll have a nasty ride.
