OK, I just got finished doing the wiring on my ZC and I was wondering if they only have one o2 sensor? Mine is on the bottom of the downpipe by the cat and the wire it connects to is near the dizzy....correct? I belive so...
Now the Problem: I was lookin at my friends ZC and his o2 is on his e/m(DC header) and I didnt see one on his downpipe? Was it relocated for his car or was mine? Am I missing and o2 sensor on the top portion of my e/m- I have a DC header and no hole for the o2 like his car. Am I supposed to have 2 o2 sensors? LMK...and thanks.

Yea, basically check to see if you have an O2 bong where the header got from 4-2 or 4-1. If not that's how your car is. Because some of the header have it at the top and others don't.

 

Well first ZC's only have 1 O2 sensor.

As for the location that all depends on the header you have. I have a DC header as well and mine is also down right before the cat and that is because that is the only place they could put it so it could get a reading off of all 4 cylinders sure they could have put it up a bit further but I guess that location works for them??

Now you were saying your friends O2 sensor was on his exhaust manifold?? But you mentioned DC? So does he have a DC header or? One thing you can check on his is how many cylinders would his O2 sensor be reading off of? Like I said it should be in a place where it can read all 4 cylinders. If his has an O2 bung that is just sitting on one of the collecters than his was added to it.

...its a DC header but it does have a bung on the pipe-he also has his car str8 piped...plus h wiring was retarded and I already had to clean it up once from the idiot who previously did the dpfi-mpfi swap....again thanks for the help....
