What dan gsr ment is that when your input shaft bearing goes bad, it kinda sounds like when your release bearing goes bad...
when you press on the clutch is goes away..

people have been telling me that if the clutch is out and there's a grinding/knocking sound then it's the input shaft bearing. but if you step on the clutch pedal, it goes away. so is it the mainshaft or the input bearing?
