I would say Intake manifold, but if youre doing it yourself, its a total pain in the *** to take off the stock manifold!

But its all worth it in the end.

For your LS I would say a Throttle body over an IM. I assume that you would be getting a ITR intake Manifold. You would lose a good amount of low-mid and the LS doesnt rev very high so you wouldnt gain all that much at all. Although i dont really know everything you have done, so if you have Cams or turbo then the IM would be good.

You don't have enough compression/cam/motor to justify the Skunk2 copy of the ITR intake manifold. Go with the bored throttle body, just keep away from JG.

I'd also be a little skeptical about the tb. Especially from jg I've been hearing about a lot of problems with idle and so forth with the bored tb's. And I'm also having such a problem with mine. (jg)

What would be a good throttle body then if JG sucks?

you could just find a reputable machine shop to bore out your stock TB. cheaper than buying a new TB

What kind of problem idle problem are you having with your tb ? I have the JG tb, I had problems at first but I pretty much got most of my idle problem taking care of. Most of my idle problems was becasue the plate does not seal properly against the TB walls and I had to calibrate the VAFC with the new postions of the tps.

If you think you have the sealing problem like I did, just close the idle screw all the way. If your seal is good it should idle really low like almost staling. But if it is still idling high, cover the mouth of the tb with a hand or something that can handle the vaccuum at the tb and slowly start to cover the TB. you can start half way and work your way to almost completely covering the the TB. You should see an improvement in your idle, while the cover is still over the TB.

You can fix the sealing problem by using most heat resistance liquid gaskets. What I did was coat the rim of the tb plate and the area around (front and back)the tb plate to create the seal around the TB plate against the walls. Once I got the TB plate to seal properly, I didn't have any more problems with my idle. But when you do use liquid gasket seal use a small brush or plastic putty knife to apply the liquid gasket, and also make sure that you test the the TB opens and closes before re-installing it.
