22x8x15 slicks good for up to how much power??
I'm about to purchase some 22in slick and i wanted to know if they'd be good for a turbo prelude?? would it be good for 250-300whp??
go with a 24.5*8*13 slick...
22" is more for all-motor honda's, with 300whp definately up to a 24.5" slick. M&H's, Hoosiers, and MT's are all good slick brands.

that's the thing, us prelude guys can't run 13 in rims cuz of our brakes so we have to use a 15in rim.
Hi (flip1199) the 22's would be to small, you need to look @ the 8.5/24.5-15 or the 9.2/24-15 if that is what you are looking for in a M&H. I will need more info on your set up, I will IM you. John@M&H

before i was turbo i ran mid 13's with nitrous on 22's and was cutting 1.8 60 foots on them
i think for only 250whp you could easy hook up on 22's , and keep the gearing so you can be on the top of 4th going thru the traps

yea these were Mickey;s not enuff sidewall was the prob, im sure my real tight gearing doesnt help any either , i am on the market for a set of 26x8x15's though. maybe ill look you guys up

i cant fit a 13inch so it was on 15's it was a high 1.8 but still left nice it was a 1.892 and a 5.584 330mark i ever dynoed back then to see the whp i was making but i was leaving on the bottle
