Whenever i turn on my GSR, and the engine is cold, (sometimes with the engine a little hotter), i hear this like... clacking noise... for a few seconds (3-8 seconds) and then it starts idling normally... don't know how long its been happening but whatever, does anyone know what might be the cause of this????? is it normal>????

 

what type of clacking noise? are you referring to the abs pump?

yeap it sound like the abs pump
usually it sound like a washere machine
so have a tech take a look at it

 

well ok... my ABS light, SRS light have been on now for about 2 or 3 months.. and i hope its not an engine thing, i did valve adjustment last month and do my oil change religiously... so i don't know... it sounds like metal hitting something... but i don't know... i'll fix my ABS and see if it goes away...


btw, how much should i be paying for a speed sensor (the problem with my abs) at a junk or at honda???

 

My ABS pump sounded like valves clacking when it went out. So just pull the ABS fuses and see if it still happens.
