You can ride around on one stock and one Koni.......but take it easy, especially on the bends! Your suspension setup will be all out of sync at the mo.

How old are your Konis? If you've done, say under 8-10000mls then buying one should make a great deal of difference. Over that, the new one is gonna be a lot more precise than your original three - hope this makes sense!

Basically, you would never replace one blown stock w/out replacing the other on the same axle......would you?

The off the shelf Koni Sports are only sold in sets of Front and Rear for the Prelude. They do have a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. So if one is blown, you should be able to get it replaced or rebuilt under warranty. Even if they won't/can't honor the warranty, they will be able to work with you to get the one you have blown rebuilt or replaced.

First, I would contact Koni through the contact info on their website and see what they can do. If you have problems with them after trying that route, you might want to try contacting Honda-tech memeber "CRX Lee". CRX Lee works for Koni NA, so if you are having problems dealing with Koni NA on this issue through their published contact info, you may want to explain the situation to him and see if he can pull any strings to help resolve the problem.

There should be no problem runnining one stock shock on the street for a few weeks while the other one gets rebuilt or whatever. Just understand that your handling in emergency situations may be affected adversely due to the mis-matched shocks. So take it easy when driving...

Koni rebuilds at their plant in Hebron, Ky. Unless you did something really horrible-the warranty will be honored. I would take both off and have them checked/serviced. Contact CRXLee at Koni.
