I got my accord like 2 months ago I wanted to know what I can do that would not harm the engine that'll give it maybe 30-60 more horse power. Its a EX V6 with 200HP and I'd like to make it 260HP.

Also one more thing...my manual says to change the oil every 7000 something miles...is that true??? Or should I just change it every 3000? I currently have 3200miles on it and I haven't done anything yet. I bought 3 honda filters but was wondering if I should also use honda oil...my car takes 5w-20 I think. My stupid honda dealer told me they only carry 0w-30 I don't know why...he also told me they use that type on all oil changes...accord, cr-v, civic etc... Is this OK to do??? Whats the difference?

Sup bookbag my boy got one of those new accords and he said its the worse thing he ever drove. Not much for speed he says even with NOS he tsill turns wack track times. It has alot of cosmetic products for it but the auto transmission kills it. I like it personality and I think you should work hard and make it an accord that puts fear in the heart of all. Good luck

Comptech makes headers for that car, that give 25-30hp, I don't remember who makes the CAI but I know someone does, you should be able to find one, if not, you can peace one together. I'd definatly do some type of cat-back exhaust that would give a lot of help. there are other things you can do to it to make it quick, but like the man said "the automatice Trans kills it" and it's very true....DON'T take my word on this, but you might be able to use CL Type S cams in that car...again...DON'T take my work on that....NOS would help....there's tons of shyte you can do, it's just matter of finding someone willing to do it, and a place to find the parts needed..... those are nice rides tho...GOOD LUCK

 

You could go with a Turbo@8psi thats the most the stock tranny can hold, if you ran a turbo it would get you in the range of 250-265hp!

 

u can't really add that much hp w/o a lot of ish. u could get the basics, CAI, headers, dual xhaust. if u'r lucky u might get btween 20-40hp w/ all of it. i heard headers 4 a v6 help a lot but freakin xpenisive (1000$). after all dat bolt on stuff, mayb bore out the throttle body (don't think dey sell pre-bored 1's). research it!
