I have a Honda accord 2009, I4. 165,000 miles. It's been running as a champ. I'd like to have a question for the members in this forum. The engine oil type for this Honda accord is 5w20 synthetic blend. I've been using this oil for almost 9 years, and last year I switched into 0w20 advance synthetic from Mobil1 oil (the Mobil1 5qts bottle case design for Hondas and Toyotas) for six months. I noticed that the advance synthetic oil from Mobil1 made my Honda accord run much faster to compare with the Honda 5w20 synthetic blend oil. However, I switched it back to Honda 5w20 because some mechanics from the dealership told me that it is not good if I keep using the 0w20 advance synthetic if I drive it in Arizona. So, my question is, should it be healthy for the engine to use 0w20 from Mobile1 and replace it every 5 or 6 thousand miles as I did last year?
Thanks a million,

dzvero, it is true. I am not kidding at you. When I switched it back to Honda 5w20 synthetic blend oil, I first noticed that the acceleration of the vehicle is slower. The Mobile1 0w20 advance synthetic is faster!
