ok, well i have a OBD1 GSR body that had an LS motor in it.. the motor blew, so we put a obd2 LS motor with harness in there. everything is hooked up. we have spark, cuz i tested the wires, and we have fuel cuz i popped an injector out, and fuel came out.

anyone have any ideas what the prob could be. am i going to have to put the obd1 harness back on?? it turns over and over but doesnt want to start. i also swapped the internals of the dist.

My advice to you would be to check your wiring order over. Not much else :s

How is the spark timing? Are the wires in the right order?

 

yah, plug wires are in right order..

are you talking about the inector wires being in right order.. never knew they could be out of order, but i will check on it.

 

Dont know if they can...just suggesting the logical progression in my mind.

Dont think you can **** em up.....but maybe you missed the fuel injector wires when youd di the swap, or maybe you missed the FI ground...I know I forgot it once and only 2 of the 4 were firing...made for a horrible idle.

definately check grounds and make sure your car is timed properly.

 

how did you match up the wires? color to color? when we did a ZC swap a few of the wires that had the same color were for different use...we had the cam position and the crank postion wires mixed matched...
