500 miles on new engine... What oil should I use?
I put 500 miles on my new engine and Im going to give it an oil change.. I was wondering what oil you guys recommend. Ls/vtec with jdm r pistons and cams.

I agree....the synthetic is too thin. It may not allow the rings to seat properly. Use regular oil until about 2000 miles. Once you are confident the rings are okay, go with synthetic.

redline is very thin and burns quicker too I heard. mobil1 would be my choice.
