Default JDM 92 95 Civic Coin Pocket

This may be a dumb question but does anyone happen to know if you would get one of these pockets........what happens or what do you do about the OEM Dimmer switch?

eg6 coin pockets can be found on Ebay for about 30 bucks. you wont be using the dimmer anymore. I believe jdm eg6 didnt come with dimmer controls.

yea i dont think jdm eg's came with dimmers....my sir 2 guage cluster dosnt dim but my usdm climate control does...id rather have the coin pocket anyways the dimmer is useless

Awww i kinda figured it was something like that...guess i can just set it at max and just tuck it away in the back somewhere......thanks bro

Ya you dont' need the dimmer switch for the jdm cluster but you still need the dimmer switch to be attached to have your light on for the climate control.

I put in my coin pocket and i couldnt understand why my climate control wouldnt light up anymore but i figured out that it was because i disconnected the dimmer switch cuz i figured i didn't need it for the cluster but it controls the light for the climate control.

So that's just a lil FYI to you guys if you eva put in a coin pocket/jdm cluster and take out the dimmer switch..
