I am putting a skunk 2 intake manifold on a d16z6 and I got everything hooked up right, or so I thought because when I started it, it began to idle funny. It jumps back and forth from about 1,000-3,000 rpms. Whats going on?

 

vacuum leak....happened to me on my install.....i didn't scrap off ALL every last bit of old intake gasket.

I had to go back with a dremel and polish the metal to get all the sticky gasket that was still left.....worked fine after.
