I just bought an air-power ratchet for the air compressor and when i went to try it out after i lubed it up... it doesn't spin like an impact wrench. Forgive my stupidity, but this is the first time i've used a ratchet powered by air.

It spins, but slowly... not super fast like an impact wrench. Is this normal? A simple yes or no would greatly help and make me feel better...

Yes

 

an air rachet is not suppose to spin super fast, so don't worry about it.

 

what kind of impact gun is it and what kind & HP rating does it have

because if your compressor is too small then it wont have the power to take a bolt off .... basicly useless... just a thought but let me know on my questions and i will get back to you

Don't worry about that... the CFM and PSI matches just fine, it's that i've NEVER used an air ratchet b4 and it jus didn't spin like an impact wrench so i thought i would ask the people here, but i guess it doesn't spin super fast, it just generates the torque and spins slowly...
