Is 11 pounds difference pre wheel/tire combo worth upgrading?
My current 15" wheels/tires weight 35 pounds. A set of 1992 gsr with rubber are 24 pounds each.
Will these 11 pounds per wheel help my in the quater mile?

35 pounds for tire and wheel. not just the wheel. And I did get the 24 pound GSR wheel/tire setup. I like it. its a lot more tire that I like, but for 44 pounds total. I can live with it.

i have volk te37s 15x7 with a 195/50 yoko avs es100 on it, and it weighs 28 lbs, i think your scale is off, the tires have no tread or something
yea I'm looking up the tire weight.
Volk TE37 15 x 7 Forged 9.2lb ... yea maybe his scale is off. he wieghted them.
I've found "Yokahama AVS ES100 = 24.4 pounds" of unknown size from http://forums.nasioc.com/forum....html .
So something is not adding up. I'm gonna grab the my scale and weight them.
