I saw a couple ITRs out there...including a Yellow JRSC ITR...was running 14.7s

Some decent cars out there..the fastest car out was an all-motor CRVTEC powered Civic HB that ran 12.4@107 MPH...it was a full race car though.

For street driven cars..there was another all-motor CRVTEC HB running 13.0 and an Ec;lipse GSX also running 13.0

 

JRSC ITR is only running 14.7? Was something wrong w/ it?

 

sOmething has to be wrong with it or the driver REALLY couldnt drive.
14.77 was his best that I saw...he eben ran some 14.90's and 15.0s if I recall correctly.

 

I think I know the JRSC'ed R, it was Javier. It's all traction issues i believe. Plus maybe some overheating stuff. I dunno, i will get him to reply here to explain what the issues are.

 

That was my R that ran a 14.7 i dont know wtf was wrong let the car cool and ran a 14.7 and im pissed thats the first time i ran it since the tuning before i ran a 14.5 back in december with 164 hp and power dip at 7gran now im running 187 plus exhuast fully tuned and a 14.7 well it was hard to get a good launch w/o lots of wheelspin on street tires i asked chris from SRD what he thought was wrong and he said it was just too hot even his crew was running **** times he said and he ran a 12.4 so people can talk there **** and say wtf supercharged itr running a 14.7 **** i want to see someone run the car on street tires and see them run a good time look at rboosted ran a 13.8 with 235 hp and on slicks and at sea level.

I was just wondering wha tthea deal was...as I can imagine the car is much more capable then a 14.7

 

13.87@99 on slicks at sea level with 175/125. I ran 14.265@98 on streets with 170/120 ....... go figure.

I guess the more hp you get, the harder it is to control it with a fwd. That's why I'll stick to all motor.

 

Where are these drag wars held?
I have a 98 GSR that I'd like to run someday (never been to a drag strip)

It was at Speedworld Motorplex...yhey probably wont have one again until next year...

...but you can gop oyt to the track every Wednesday or Friday night.
Wednesday is better IMP cause there alot less people so you can get more runs in.
