Default unorthodox pullies?

A friend of mine has a del sol twin cam v-tec and he just bought an unorthodox pulley for it. my question is, will a pulley do anything for my pretty much stock GSR or do i need to have other internal mods done too?

Also i can't seem to figure out how to get a pic of my car on here, i have a nice digital camera, and the pictures are saved, but i cant seem to get them to show up.

basically you have to change the
alternator and power steering pulley to notice some difference
but not much of a help rather keep the pulley system stock

and your other question about pics

upload your images to this site
and it will be much easier to post your link to stick to the board..

i have the all 3 Unorthodox racing underdrive pullies on my 98 LS and i think they are great. you only really see gains from the crank pulley. The P/S and Alternator really don't provide any gains. Stick with UR, not AEM.

Make sure to do some research before installing the crank pully.

The stock crank pully has a rubber dampener and is harmonicly balanced to prevent unecissary vibrations in the engine.

The unorthodox pully does not. Some beleave / have found evidence that running with out the dampener / balancing causes oil pump failure and accelerated bearing wear.

i have yet to see a real case of this....it may just be coincidental ...but i have had the pulleys for quite some time...no problems what so ever...

On a stock B18C1, you will not notice a big difference by changing the crankshaft, p/s, and a/c pulleys. You should however, notice that your car may rev a little bit quicker. Also be warned that your a/c may not be as powerful as before once you change the pulleys. Since your GSR is stock, save the money and get an intake or header.
