92-00 civic and teg struts on ef...
"Run '92-'00 Civic Struts in Your '88-'91 CRX
The struts for the newer generation Civics and Integras don't fit the 2nd Gen CRX. The strut diameter is too large for the CRX strut fork. But there's a solution...
Well this is news to me but if you use the FORK off the 92-95 civics and the 92-95 shocks. The back doesn't need to be changed but the fronts you just have to change the fork and your set. A friend of mine has them in and told me APPARENTLY a while ago.
This also means that 92-00 civic and 94+ teg shocks will now work as well.
The reason the Fork has to be changed is the front shocks have a larger dia on the base and will not fit in the 88-91 forks
Note: Thanks to YellowVTEC for the find. "
-- i found this info at the crx resource, was wondering if anyone had tried this.. are the struts the same except their diamter?
thanks
